Approved Modifications

Any specific modifications on this list were checked when added to make sure that they were allowed under the network rules. If a modification has been updated since it was listed here to include new or changed features, it may no longer be allowed.

Please also note that we would never approve modifications on request. If you are in doubt about whether or not a modification is allowed, check the allowed modification categories below. Please be aware that the use of any modification that provides an unfair advantage is not allowed. This includes any modification(s) made to your Minecraft client, computer, or mouse through the use of auto-click/burst clicking macros or buttons. Modifications which alter the way that your client sends data to the server are also strictly disallowed, even if they fall into an allowed category. Any other categories of modifications should be treated as disallowed.

Approved Clients & Modifications
Approved mods that are not downloaded from the official source will be considered unapproved.
  • (a) Optifine from https://optifine.net
  • (b) Forge from https://files.minecraftforge.net
  • (c) Badlion Client from https://client.badlion.net
  • (d) LabyMod Client 2.6 or above from https://labymod.net

Approved Categories of Modifications
Mods that provide purely the following approved functions are considered approved mods.
  • (a) Performance Improvement
  • (b) Brightness or Gamma adjustment
  • (c) Graphics Enhancement
  • (d) Huds and Indications, showing direction, coordinates, armor, potion effect, cps or keystroke;
Mods that display the distance to a target, health of a target, or that give any indications of when a player/entity can hit you or when you can hit them, or that the display is still visible when the target is invisible are strictly prohibited.
  • (e) Minimaps
which does not show entities (such as players, except yourself) or caves in any way.
  • (f) Replays and Recordings
which enables recording and playback of game-play, while also allowing the changing of perspective during playback.

Approved Clicking Methods
  • (a) Normal Clicking
  • (b) Jitter Clicking

Approved Automations for PvE
  • (a) Vanilla F3 Auto Click
Your arm will only move when there is a mob or a block in front of you.

For modifications that do not conform to section 3C(1) of the Penal Code shall be presumed unapproved. Their use, if no such intent or consequence as defined in section 3 of the Penal Code can be observed, shall fall within the "use at your own risk" category. Otherwise, their use shall be subject to regulation.

If the Anti-Cheat punishes a person for cheating, and if that person uses anything that falls within the unapproved or "use at your own risk" category, he or she will receive no support (i.e. appeal will be ignored) unless he or she is able to give a satisfactory explanation to justify his or her innocence.

Examples of "
Use at Your Own Risk" modifications
  • (a) Lunar Client from https://lunarclient.com
  • (b) Salwyrr Client from https://salwyrr.com
  • (c) Hyperium Client from https://hyperium.cc
  • (d) PvPLounge Client from https://pvplounge.com
  • (e) Offline CheatBreaker Client from https://offlinecheatbreaker.com
  • (f) CM-Pack from https://cm-pack.pl
  • (g) ToggleSprint
  • (h) TCP No Delay
  • (i) Mouse Delay Fix
They are not approved modifications since they somehow alter the way how client sends data (i.e. sending hacked client like packets) to the server and may cause a lot of troubles with BattleHawk. Mods that are not downloaded from the official source do not belong to "use at your own risk".

Examples of "Use at Your Own Risk" Clicking Methods
  • (a) Butterfly Clicking
  • (b) Drag Clicking
Butterfly clicking or drag clicking is not possible on all mice and is not a normal way to click. It somehow gives you an unfair advantage against people that are playing the game how it is meant to be played.

Examples of "Use at Your Own Risk" Automations for PvE
  • (a) 1.16+ Vanilla Keybind Auto Click
Although it is a vanilla feature, it is still highly discouraged since it behaves like a real auto clicker. It only falls within the "use at your own risk" category if it is used for PvE.

Any unlisted modifications shall be pressumed disallowed. Modifications that would alter vanilla behaviour in the purpose of giving yourself unfair advantages shall be treated as inappropriate or illegal, and shall never be used in BattleAsya under any circumstances. Similarly, you are not advised to use any of the unlisted/unapproved modifications in-game, even though they might not be inducing any significant unfair advantages or altering any forms of vanilla minecraft behaviour. If you are punished with any reasons and at the same time you have at least one of these unlisted modifications installed, you are then obliged to bare full consequences and subsequently, we would refuse to handle your appeal.

Frequently Asked Questions

The answers below serves as a critical part of the rules.

Is XXXX modification allowed on the server?
All the allowed modifications are listed here. Any unlisted modifications shall be pre-assumed as unapproved. If the modification provides any form of advantages over other users then we strongly recommend removing it.

Will I ever be 100% sure that my modifications are safe?
No. For that reason, we recommend a 100% vanilla client when possible.

Can an admin tell me if a modification is allowed?
No. We never approve modifications on request. However we can refer you to our list of whitelisted modifications at http://rules.battleasya.com.

I have used modifications in the past, am I at risk of being banned?
Yes, as long as they are no longer installed and you are no longer using them on the server. But a No, if some modifications have found to tamper with .jar in your minecraft folder. Please make sure your minecraft client is clean.

If I have modifications installed but aren't actively using them, am I at risk?
Yes, you are! Some modifications interact with the server even if you aren't actively using them. Simply having them installed may be putting you at risk. Please consider to uninstall them.

I've used a 3rd-party program to change how my client works - will that be detected?
Yes, you might be at risk. if you are using it alongside other mods, a chain effect by a combination of mods could have been triggered and might provide your some unfair advantages. Our stance is still the same, it is not allowed, the safest way to be a legit player is just to not mess around with it. However, if you insist to use that, please use at your own risk.
