High Latency ( > 300ms )
Technical issues are the most commonly seen defects that would have stopped our players from connecting to our service. Constant disconnections and insanely high latency could be possibly caused by several incorrectly configured settings from the client-side or even from the network-side. We have, therefore, provided some quick solutions here attempting to tackle these commonly seen network issues in Minecraft. In this section, we are together trying to solve one of the most frequently reported issues: "High Latency with ping > 300ms".
If you are having issues with our official default gateway: play.battleasya.com, please kindly test your connection to our available alternative gateways in Singapore and Malaysia, until you have found the most suitable gateway with the lowest possible latency for yourself. If, unfortunately, the problem persists, power cycling your wireless home router could help. In other words, restart your router and investigate. You shall also make sure that you are not using any other applications while playing Minecraft. Close your browsers, games, or anything unnecessary. If your wireless router is overloaded (too many connected users, the router cannot keep up) or your bandwidth is over congested (too many connected users, not enough bandwidth to share), the connection speed and quality will deteriorate drastically. If so, you may consider to set up a speed limit, a user restriction, or to purchase a better router or internet plan.
